Be Sure To

  • Present a favorable image on behalf of the company
  • Check in with the event coordinator, confirm location and introduce yourself before you set up
  • Profusely and politely thank the event coordinator and venue
  • Leave a business card
  • Keep prop table neat
  • Politely regulate and manage drunk people and crowds
  • Log your mileage, expenses, break time, working time and driving times
  • Log what items you used from the emergency kit
  • Indicate if table cloth needs to be washed

 

Tips and tricks

  • Wear extremely comfortable shoes. You will be on your feet
  • Regulate your crowd flow, don’t overwhelm yourself. Slow people down by letting people have time picking out props and finish putting prop backs before letting the next group in
