Monday was such a blast for our Sacramento photo booth with the Arts Day of Giving. For this year’s Arts Day of Giving, our fun photo booth was located inside Mulvaney’s Building’s and Loans‘ Next Door venue. The whole day was so much fun with dancers, singers, delicious food trucks, a live sculptor, amazing food from Mulvaney’s and traidional Mexican dancing! You mean we get to have our fun photo booth and eat yummy food?! We are so there!

Starting at 4:29am on 4/29/13, the Sacramento region came together to support the arts in its first-ever, online Day of Giving. GiveLocalNow spans Yolo, El Dorado, Placer, and Sacramento counties. With nonprofit partners and support from businesses and individuals in all four areas. In 24 hours, the region showed just how much it values the contribution of its artists and arts groups by raising over $500,000.

The community came to life Monday morning with social media campaigns that generated almost 1,000 new donors and expanded the philanthropic base for the arts in our region

GiveLocalNow is the result of the vision, leadership and hard work of a broad array of regional leaders who believe that we can and must evolve into a more charitable region. The Sacramento Region Community Foundation and the Nonprofit Resource Center currently steward the GiveLocalNow movement on a day-to-day basis.

GiveLocalNow’s Investors, Nonprofit Advisory Group and Marketing Committee have all spent countless hours in the belief that local nonprofits add tremendous value to our region and deserve our support – especially in these times.

We went all out and customized a fun backdrop for the Arts Day Of Giving! Pinks, reds, yellows and gold! And we brought out our new custom props with fun mustaches  bow ties, beards and signs! We saw so many people come through our photo booth, we had a blast! Renting a photo booth is the perfect way to add some fun to your Sacramento event or fundraiser! Once you are done with the photos, you have the option of emailing it to yourself or loading it right on Facebook, instantly!
