With our Giggle and Riot, Sacramento photobooth, Co-Founder being a #LadyBoss, we LOVE when we get to join in for an event that is for the ladies! Two other types of events we love? COMMUNITY & HEALTH! Put those three things together and you get the Kaiser Women’s Fitness Festival!
The Kaiser Women’s Fitness Festival is Sacramento’s largest all women’s event. The annual festival kicks off with a 5K/10K and 1/2mile run and walk which starts and finishes at the State Capitol.
Following the run, all are invited to take part in the fitness festival at the State Capitol. What a fantastic morning of women empowering women and learning better ways to help our health…not to mention, the fun to be had!
The event website provides the following information about the Kaiser Women’s Fitness Festival:

The beneficiary of the event? WEAVE!
WEAVE (Women Escaping A Violent Environment) is bringing an end to Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in partnership with our community. At WEAVE, no person is ever turned away when they ask for help. WEAVE provides 24-hour immediate crisis intervention for survivors.
WEAVE is the only organization in Sacramento County that accompanies every rape victim to provide support during evidentiary exams. A victim’s clothing is collected as evidence during this process. You can ensure that every rape victim has clothing to wear home from the hospital.
What an all around amazing event! Thanks Kaiser for inviting us to be a part of it!
