Stay humble, always. These are words that we try to live by everyday at Giggle and Riot. Community means so much to us and we love when we have the opportunity to capture special moments with our photo booth! That’s why, when we were asked to join the rideATAXIA NorCal event in Winters, we jumped at the chance!

What is rideATAXIA? We’re so glad you asked! rideATAXIA is a cycling event comprised of 1.5, 10, 23, and 52 mile cycling routes on scenic country roads in the Central Valley.

rideATAXIA benefits FARA- a nonprofit organization dedicated to research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s ataxia (FA). FA is a debilitating, life shortening, degenerative neuro-muscular disorder.

According to FARA’s website, “rideATAXIA cycling events across the United States have raised invaluable awareness for FA and $5 million for FARA since 2007.”

Not only was this a bike race, it was a day of physical achievement and family FUN! You can just see it expressed in the Napa photo booth photos!

FARA’s Mission is to marshal and focus the resources and relationships needed to cure FA by raising funds for research, promoting public awareness, and aligning scientists, patients, clinicians, government agencies, pharmaceutical companies and other organizations dedicated to curing FA and related diseases.”
