At Giggle and Riot, when a family is planning an event, we do everything we can to make sure that every part of your San Francisco photobooth experience is special.
Each of our client’s events is as unique and special as our clients themselves. Our primary goal is to make sure you walk away feeling that!
Recently, we took a trip with one of our photobooths for Ava and Alana’s b’not mitzvah, hosted at the St. Regis Hotel.

Only at this legendary San Francisco hotel will guests take pleasure in the signature St. Regis Butler service, a treasured hallmark of the St. Regis experience for over one hundred years.

The St. Regis San Francisco hotel enjoys an artful address, with the Museum of the African Diaspora located within the hotel and the renowned San Francisco Museum of Modern Art next door. Find yourself in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods with the most exciting galleries, San Francisco attractions, events, restaurants, and shopping.
A Celebration!
While many people have heard of a “bat mitzvah” or “bar mitzvah”, many don’t know that there are also pluralized forms of these events. Sometimes, children may share their service with another person – typically a sibling or fellow synagogue attendee.
“B’nai mitzvah” is the term used to apply to a group of more than one boy, such as 2 boys or a group of boys and girls. For a group of more than 1 girl, you’d use the term “b’not mitzvah”. The service normally takes place on or around the child’s 13th birthday. However, this can vary based on the synagogue, as some have different requirements.
Again, we were so honored to be a part of Ava & Alana’s big day! Not only was this once-in-a-lifetime experience a beautiful event, but it was so fun, too! During the celebrations, we met with lots of the attendees who expressed how excited and happy they were for the girls. So much love!
