Can you guess who loves a good fundraiser for a great cause? We do! Now, can you guess who puts the FUN in FUNdraiser? Us again!
Each Spring, the Oakland Unified School District and Crocker Highlands Elementary School put together a fun, themed spring fundraised called the Crocker Highlands Auction. This auction’s goal for 2019 is to “raise more than $100,000 to continue supporting our dynamic enrichment programs – library, technology, music, physical activity”, and more!
We went last year, and it was a great time. This year, we were invited back to attend with our awesome circus photobooth props and backdrop, and it was even more amazing than we remembered!
Classy Circus Photobooth
While not everyone thinks of sophistication as being synonymous with the circus, we’re here to prove that it can be done! The auction’s attendees were dressed to the nines, both in and out of costume. Everyone looked amazing, and totally ready to raise some funds for the littles of their district. Yay, education!
Fundraising for the Future
We’re no stranger to fundraising events, but each one has its own goals that make it special. For the Crocker Highlands Auction, the main idea is simple: fundraising for the future by raising money to support the children in the school district.
Crocker Highlands provides a wonderfully rich public education in a stimulating and supportive environment like no other. A great deal of what makes Crocker so fantastic is not paid for by the state, however. We depend heavily on proceeds from the auction to pay for many programs that make a big difference for our kids, including library services, computer lab, music, physical activity, Spanish, and more.

The guests had an amazing time, and we’re so glad we could be a part of it!
