Pride Went Virtual With Us In 2020!
We made a fun virtual photobooth to celebrate this unique and important event. When we heard Sacramento Pride went virtual, we were excited to begin discussing their creative vision and how we can bring more fun to the events! What better way to commemorate a digital pride year than with a virtual photobooth! This web-based booth was a way for the LGBTQ community and their allies to capture a memory of this unconventional year. It is full of color, fun, and a great way for people to stay cute and show their pride.
Sacramento Virtual Pride 2020 celebrates our technological age by finding meaningful ways to share and connect at a distance. The community organizers curated informational and fun webinars that kept us entertained and informed. Modules ranging from “The Gayest Trivia Ever” to workshops on activism, even makeup tutorials and rainbow yoga! We were so excited to participate in celebrating this time of year with the LGBTQ community!
Fun & Unique Virtual Frames
Our virtual photobooth frames varied in design. We had fun and playful frames that had rainbows and pops of color, sleek and minimal frames with the rainbow flag, as well as Virtual Pride’s signature logo that signified the year of digital events! We also have the ability to showcase bursts in our online photobooths, these are small videos that rewind and replay the recorded video (also known as boomerangs). Our custom frames have the signature event logos and messaging so that your attendees can share their images and your event on social media! Its a great way and easy way to lighten up the mood on virtual events and give people a unique way to express themselves!
Staying Connected and Looking Forward
Virtual photobooths are not only fun, but they allow people to still connect through an event. Though we may be physically distant, we are still united. Sacramento Pride found innovative and positive ways to turn Pride 2020 into a fun and engaging experience for our area. We were happy to participate in the fun and look forward to more and more online booths in the digital age. We look forward to more events with the Sacramento LGBTQ Center!!
