Yet another night with Giggle and Riot! This time we brought our fun photo booth to the Feast for The Streets Gala 2013 for Francis House Center. Truly a feast for foodies and wine lovers!
The 22nd Annual Feast for the Streets on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center was the event of the week! Each year over 600 people join together for an evening of wonderful food, drinks and auction items. More than 40 of Sacramento’s finest restaurants, wineries and breweries offered up their delicious treats, creating one grand buffet.
Feast for the Streets truly is a communal meal on behalf of those who often go without food or shelter. Participation means Francis House Center can continue to be a beacon of hope and help for those suffering the effects of poverty. Money raised at Feast for the Streets pays for job development, shelter, counseling and triage for those needing work, housing, and hope.
Francis House Center is a triage center for those suffering homelessness and poverty. It is our mission to provide relief, resources and hope to transform individuals and families from a struggle for survival to a plan for their success.
Feast for the Streets also featured two auctions, a silent auction with wonderful art, memorabilia, gift baskets, services and more and a fun and exciting live auction with an auctioneer from the Pacific Auction company!
Some of our favorite restaurants were in attendance! Thai Basil, Hook and Ladder Manufacturing Co., Dos Coyote, Evan’s Kitchen, Kru, Ju Hachi and Nothing Bundt Cake to name a few. Not only did we have fun with our photo booth but we got some amazing food as well! What a great night!
Our selected custom backdrop of the night was an amazing textured purple satin backdrop to match the colors and theme for Feast for the Streets! Our fun photo booth took over 200 photos that night. Event guests were able to instantly email themselves their photo booth photos or upload them on Facebook! How fun! I dare say that some of our best photos ever has been from the Feast for the Streets Gala! Young and old, guests posed, laughed and put their game face on for our photo booth! We even had a three generation photo: grandma, mom and daughter! How cool is that?
The best part was getting to meet so many wonderful people from Francis house! Many of whom posed their mug in front of our photo booth! Thank you to the amazing people at Francis House for continuing to help our community!
